Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated SHO (Senior House Officer) to join our A&E department. The role involves providing high-quality emergency care, managing acute cases, and supporting the multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess and manage patients presenting with a wide range of acute medical and trauma conditions.
- Participate in resuscitation efforts and emergency procedures under consultant supervision.
- Conduct patient triage, history-taking, and examinations in the emergency setting.
- Work collaboratively with consultants, nurses, and paramedics to deliver optimal patient care.
- Provide on-call support during emergencies and assist in ward rounds.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
Requirements
- Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
- Experience in A&E or emergency medicine.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and make quick clinical decisions.
