CT3 – Emergency Department
Job Overview
We are seeking a CT3 Doctor to join our Emergency Department, providing high-quality acute and emergency care in a fast-paced environment. The role involves assessing and managing a wide range of urgent and critical cases while working closely with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute medical, surgical, and trauma-related conditions.
- Perform resuscitation and stabilization of critically ill or injured patients under consultant supervision.
- Work collaboratively with consultants, registrars, nurses, and paramedics to provide high-quality patient care.
- Participate in on-call duties, clinical audits, and departmental teaching sessions.
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation and communication with specialist teams.
- Support and supervise junior doctors and medical students, ensuring safe and effective practice.
- Adhere to hospital policies, patient safety protocols, and GMC guidelines.
Requirements
- Recent UK A&E experience is essential.
- A&E references must be provided.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills in emergency and acute care settings.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and within a multidisciplinary team.
