Occupational Therapist (Band 6)
Job Overview
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to manage a small caseload of patients, providing field-specific services. The role requires expertise in risk assessing, care-planning, and safety planning, with a focus on mental health. Knowledge of the new transformation model of the CMHT and familiarity with RIO are desirable.
Responsibilities
- Manage a small caseload of patients, focusing on mental health and occupational therapy needs.
- Conduct risk assessments, create individual care plans, and develop safety plans for patients.
- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure effective care delivery.
- Provide individualized therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress.
- Contribute to the CMHT transformation model and implement best practices in care.
Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy with HCPC registration.
- Experience in mental health settings with knowledge of risk assessing, care-planning, and safety planning.
- Familiarity with the new CMHT transformation model is desirable.
- Knowledge of the RIO system is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
