Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Chronic Pain Consultant to lead and oversee Pain Management Clinics, providing expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with chronic pain. The role involves clinical assessment, injection procedures, and collaborative care within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed medical assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic procedures.
- Develop and oversee personalized pain management plans for patients.
- Perform injection procedures and other interventional treatments.
- Lead and manage Pain Management Clinics, ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive pain management.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in Chronic Pain in the UK.
- GMC Specialist Register for Anaesthesia or within 6 months of CCT.
- Strong skills in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and interventional pain management.
- Experience in leading and overseeing Pain Management Clinics.
