Community Paediatric Physiotherapist
Job Overview
We are seeking a Community Paediatric Physiotherapist to manage a varied caseload of children with MSK, neuromuscular, developmental, and coordination difficulties. The role is community-based, covering Chorley and South Ribble, with a mix of clinic-based, school, and home visits. The ideal candidate will have specialist experience in paediatric physiotherapy, with support provided by the Team Coordinator and Clinical Lead.
Responsibilities
- Assess, treat, and manage a diverse paediatric caseload in clinic, school, and home settings.
- Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy plans to support children's mobility, function, and independence.
- Work collaboratively with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
- Collect and manage specialist equipment for therapy sessions.
- Participate in service development, training, and audits to improve patient care.
Requirements
- HCPC-registered Physiotherapist with experience in paediatrics.
- Knowledge and skills in MSK, neuromuscular, and developmental conditions in children.
- Ability to work independently in community settings with strong clinical reasoning.
- Local candidate preferred for face-to-face induction and equipment collection; some remote working available.
