Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Community Physiotherapist (Band 6) with expertise in urgent response and planned rehabilitation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have community or acute experience and a solid background in the NHS setting. This role involves providing physiotherapy services in the community, delivering urgent interventions, and managing rehabilitation for patients with a range of conditions, promoting recovery and independence.
Responsibilities
- Provide urgent response physiotherapy services to patients in the community.
- Develop and implement planned rehabilitation programs for patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury.
- Assess patient needs, plan and deliver individualized treatment to optimize mobility and function.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of treatment and patient progress.
Requirements
- Degree in Physiotherapy (HCPC registration required).
- NHS experience essential, with experience in both acute and community settings.
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, urgent care, and rehabilitation.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a varied caseload.
