Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Orthopaedic Inpatient Services team, providing assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients recovering from orthopaedic surgeries or injuries. The role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to support patients in their recovery and help them regain independence in daily activities.
Responsibilities
- Assess and treat orthopaedic patients, focusing on functional recovery and improving independence.
- Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans for patients post-surgery or injury.
- Collaborate with medical and nursing teams to provide holistic care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of the orthopaedic service.
Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy (HCPC registration required).
- Experience in orthopaedic inpatient services (preferred).
- Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and treatment planning skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
