Podiatrist (Band 6)
Job Overview
We are seeking a Band 6 Podiatrist with expertise in wound care to join our dynamic team, delivering high-quality podiatric services across multiple locations within CCICP. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing complex foot wounds, be proficient in using EMIS, and be flexible to travel between sites as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of foot conditions, with a focus on wound care management.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with diabetic foot ulcers, pressure sores, and other podiatric wounds.
- Maintain accurate records using EMIS and ensure high standards of documentation.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide care across multiple locations within CCICP, ensuring flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements
- Degree in Podiatry (HCPC registration required).
- Significant experience in wound care management (essential).
- Proficiency in EMIS (preferred).
- Ability to work flexibly across multiple sites.
- Strong clinical skills, communication, and teamwork abilities.
