Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist (Band 6) to provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children with speech, language, and communication difficulties. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to support children's communication development and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in children.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support communication needs.
- Work closely with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to service development initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (HCPC registration required).
- Experience working with paediatric patients, ideally at Band 5 or Band 6 level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
