Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated FY2 Doctor in Trauma & Orthopaedics (T&O) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, working closely with senior clinicians and the wider multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of trauma and orthopaedic patients.
  • Participate in ward rounds, clinics, theatres, and emergency admissions.
  • Perform day on-call and night on-call duties, ensuring timely patient reviews and clinical decision-making.
  • Work collaboratively with consultants, registrars, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to clinical audits, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Full GMC registration with prior experience in Trauma & Orthopaedics or related specialties.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills.
