FY2 Doctor – Trauma & Orthopaedics (T&O)
Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated FY2 Doctor in Trauma & Orthopaedics (T&O) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, working closely with senior clinicians and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of trauma and orthopaedic patients.
- Participate in ward rounds, clinics, theatres, and emergency admissions.
- Perform day on-call and night on-call duties, ensuring timely patient reviews and clinical decision-making.
- Work collaboratively with consultants, registrars, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to clinical audits, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Full GMC registration with prior experience in Trauma & Orthopaedics or related specialties.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills.
