Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced FY2 Medical Locum to join our Urology Department. This role offers hands-on experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a variety of urological conditions, working as part of a multidisciplinary team under the supervision of experienced consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Clinical Urology Care: Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with urological conditions such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones, and prostate disorders.
  • Surgical Support: Assist in urological procedures and surgeries, including cystoscopies and minimally invasive treatments.
  • Patient Management: Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for urological patients.
  • On-call Duties: Participate in the on-call rota, managing acute urological cases and providing emergency support as needed.

Requirements

  • Full GMC Registration
  • Previous FY1 or FY2 experience in a hospital setting
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
