Requirements

  1. urgical Instrumentation and Sterile Techniques:
    • Proficiency in preparing and handling surgical instruments, ensuring sterility, and maintaining aseptic conditions during procedures.
      1. Standard Knee Implants: High proficiency
      2. Gender-Specific Knee Implants: Moderate proficiency
      3. Customized Knee Implants: Moderate proficiency
      4. Minimally Invasive Knee Implants: High proficiency
      5. Revision Knee Implants: Advanced proficiency
      6. Computer-Assisted Knee Implants: Advanced proficiency
    • Knowledge of specific instruments used in knee and hip replacements and spinal surgeries.
  2. Procedure-Specific Knowledge:
    • Understanding the steps involved in total knee and hip replacements, including implant selection, positioning, and wound closure.
    • Familiarity with spinal decompression techniques, instrumentation, and patient positioning.
  3. Team Collaboration:
    • Effective communication with surgeons, anesthetists, and other team members.
    • Anticipating the surgeon’s needs during the procedure and providing timely instrument exchange.
